How does your junk removal service work?
Simple, just call us at 608-669-2471 with your junk removal questions or for an initial quote. You can text or email pictures to the_dumpsterguy@yahoo.com, but an in-person estimate is always best for accuracy.
How does your dumpster rental service work?
We deliver the unit, you fill it at your pace, and we pick it up when you're ready. Rentals can be short-term (1-3 days), weekly, monthly, or long-term to suit your project timeline.
What are your dumpster rental pricing options?
Our most common rates and rentals include: $269 for 24 hours, $399 per week, and as low as $29/day after the initial rental fee for monthly rentals.
What size dumpsters do you carry?
Currently, we primarily use 15-yard dumpsters. We've found them to be the easiest to maneuver into tight spots, driveway-safe, and the most commonly rented size. If additional dumpsters are needed, we can bring another unit or swap it out.
What types of cleanouts do you perform?
Our primary focus is on any cleanout you may need. This includes, but is not limited to, hoarded properties, foreclosures, evictions, move in/move outs, downsizing, abandoned properties, storage units, apartment complexes, garages, basements, attics, and outbuildings.
Do you haul hazardous materials or recyclables?
Yes, we haul it all! Both hazardous materials (such as TVs/computers, paint, oils, aerosols) and recyclables (like tires, shingles) have a separate charge due to specialized disposal requirements.
What happens to the items you pick up?
We actively participate in the landfill diversion program. This means anything that can be donated, reused, or recycled is responsibly directed to appropriate facilities such as donation centers, charities, food banks, homeless shelters, and recycling centers.
Is there anything else you haul away?
Yes! We also handle furniture removals (nice, good-condition furniture is always donated) and automotive/EV batteries. Car batteries are a free pickup service and are donated to a local recycler.

There's no such thing as a dumb question! We are genuinely here to help you navigate your cleanout or junk removal needs. Don't hesitate to reach out.
How much does a hoard cleanout cost?
It's important to recognize that every situation is unique, and therefore the costs can vary significantly. Generally, you might expect a rough estimate ranging from $1 to $5 per square foot. This pricing largely depends on the severity and category of the hoard.
What other services do you offer beyond junk removal and cleanouts?
We strive to be a one-stop shop! After a property is cleaned out, especially hoarded properties, we can restore it to its original luster. This includes carpet/floor removal/replacement, drywall removal/replacement, interior painting, final detail cleaning, roofing/siding, exterior pressure washing, and lawn care. Perfect for real estate agents, property management companies, house flippers, and real estate investors.
Do you only perform residential work?
No! We are happy to serve residential, commercial, industrial, and retail clients. We service them all – no job is too big!
Do you offer trash valet service?
Yes! We would be happy to provide a quote for your multi-unit apartment/condo/townhome property on a nightly, multi-nightly, or weekly rate. This service is perfect for property management companies looking to save time, labor, and money, often resulting in a zero net loss annually.
Do you offer general moving services and what is the cost?
Yes! We can help you move across the street, across town, across the county, or even across the state. Our rates typically start at $149 per hour per two laborers, with a four-hour minimum required.
What are your payment options and terms?
We accept cash, check, credit/debit card, Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, and Apple Pay. Please note that a 3.8% fee will be added to all credit card transactions, while debit card transactions incur 0% fees. On larger jobs, we operate on a Net 30 basis.
Do you require money down for services?
For smaller jobs, no upfront payment is required, but payment is expected on the day of service. For larger jobs, this can be discussed, but typically we ask for a percentage down (10-50%) with the balance due within 30 days of job completion.
How long do jobs typically take?
Job duration varies significantly based on size and scope, time, distance, and difficulty. Smaller jobs are usually completed the same day or within 24 hours. Larger, more complex jobs can vary considerably.
Do you offer demolition services?
Yes! We'd be happy to demo your kitchen or bathroom for a beautiful renovation, or we can take down buildings, sheds, barns, houses, or even trailer homes.
